REQUIREMENTS : An gorgeous MBCHB Degree and a publish graduate qualification in Occupational Medicine (NQF 08). Registered with the HPCSA with a legitimate driver’s license Plus minimal of five years middle/senior administration degree in Occupational Health/ Medicine, Knowledge of: Knowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act and other occupational fitness associated prescripts, information of the mining zone in South Africa and internationally, Knowledge of coverage development techniques, Knowledge of coverage evaluation processes, Knowledge of global regulation and nearby rules and interface with mines’ fitness regulations, Knowledge of lookup processes, expertise of the Occupational Health traits and challenges, Knowledge of the public carrier rules Skills: Management of human beings and finances, Strategic improvement and implementation, Policy development, Networking skills, presentation and report writing skills, Stakeholder management, Communication skills, Project management skills, General administration competencies Thinking Demand: Rigorous non-corruption questioning touching on in the improvement and implementation of plans and strategy, Managerial mind-set touching on to economics, Ability to supply or perceive sources of credible facts from nearby and worldwide sources.
DUTIES : Resolve disputes on findings of scientific unfitness of mine personnel thru the appeals manner as supplied for in the MHS Act. Collect and analyse statistics gathered from Medical Reports\. Co-ordinate and make certain quality assurance of the manner to acquire and archive mine closure worker medical records. Participate /make inputs in mine fitness and security accidents/ accident investigations (occupational medicine).
