ASSISTANT MANAGER NURSING (AREA) REF NO: NCDOH 41/2026 (X1 POST)

SALARY : R693 ninety six per annum
CENTRE : Kuruman District Hospital, John Taolo Gaetsewe District

REQUIREMENTS : Degree/diploma in nursing (General, Psychiatric, Community) and Midwifery or equivalent qualification that permits registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse. Post-Basic Qualification in Health Service Management/Nursing Administration will be an advantage. Experience: A minimal of eight years appropriate/recognisable trip in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC. At least three years of the duration referred to above need to be appropriate/ recognisable journey at administration level.

DUTIES : Provide strategic management and average administration of nursing offerings within the district hospital. Ensure alignment of nursing offerings with provincial and countrywide fitness priorities. Participate in health center government administration and make contributions to institutional planning and coverage development. Ensure delivery of safe, effective, patient-centred, and evidence-based nursing care. Oversee implementation of Ideal Hospital standards, satisfactory enchancment initiatives, and scientific audits. Ensure compliance with contamination prevention and control, affected person safety, and chance administration protocols. Participate in managing recruitment, placement, overall performance management, and improvement of nursing personnel. Ensure ideal staffing degrees and equitable allocation of nursing team of workers throughout all carrier areas. Promote non stop expert development, mentorship, and capabilities development. Address labour family members issues in line with applicable regulation and policies. Manage nursing-related budgets and sources in line with PFMA and departmental guidelines. Ensure efficient utilisation of equipment, consumables, and infrastructure. Participate in procurement planning and asset administration processes. Support PHC re- engineering and integration between the district health facility and surrounding clinics/CHCs. Strengthen referral structures and continuity of care inside the district. Collaborate with District Management Teams, NGOs, and neighborhood structures. Ensure correct collection, analysis, and reporting of fitness information data. Monitor key overall performance symptoms associated to nursing services. Submit required reviews to district and provincial authorities.
