REQUIREMENTS : Minimum instructional qualification: Appropriate qualification that permits registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. Experience: Grade 1: None. Grade 2: A minimal of 10 years’ appropriate/recognisable nursing ride after registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work shifts, public holidays, after hours, night time obligation and weekends when required. Willingness to work additional time if needed. Willingness to rotate to different wards when required. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge and perception into protocols and insurance policies pertaining to nursing practices in a clinic setting. Knowledge of Infection Prevention Control standards.
DUTIES : (key end result areas/outputs): Assist sufferers with things to do of every day living. To observe patients’ behaviour and moves in wards and in seclusion and supply elementary medical nursing care. Maintain documentation and communication. Effective utilization of assets Maintain expert growth/ethical standards and self-development. Actively taking part in in-service coaching interventions.
